Thierry Henry Net Worth:
$70 Million Thierry Henry's Salary $5 Million Thierry Henry net worth: Thierry Henry is a retired professional French footballer (soccer player) who has a net worth of $70 million. He is currently the manager for the Montreal Impact soccer club. At his peak of playing in the MLS, Thierry Henry's annual salary with the New York Red Bulls was $5 million per year. He earned tens of millions more playing in Europe. He was born August 17, 1977 in Les Ulis, France. He began his professional soccer career for AS Monaco at age 17. In 1998, he helped France win the World Cup and went on to become a four-time league scoring champion. After a disappointing stint with Italy's Juventus in 1999, Henry returned to England's Arsenal FC, where he had previously played a limited role, and reunited with visionary coach Arsene Wagner. Under Wagner's mentoring, Henry went on to be instrumental in the 2000 UEFA Euro championship. Between 2001 and 2006, Henry won four Premier League Golden Boot Awards and was twice a runner-up for FIFA World Player of the Year honors. Henry was brilliant during France's run to the 2006 World Cup, but struggled with injuries during the 2006-07 season. He then transferred to Spanish giant FC Barcelona, where he helped the club win six titles between 2008-09. After a controversy involving a soccer move offense called a handball, he retired from the national team after the 2010 World Cup competition, wrapping up his international career with 51 goals over 123 caps. He shocked soccer fans when he went to the New York Red Bulls in July 2010. He defended his move by insisting he was playing in a competitive league while enjoying a life of relative anonymity in 'The Big Apple'. Henry soon proved himself by helping the New York Red Bulls get to the MLS Eastern Conference title in 2010. He retired from playing in 2014. In January 2019, Thierry was hired to coach the Montreal Impact. https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-athletes/richest-soccer/thierry-henry-net-worth/ 0 Shares 0 Like • |
