Nyali MP Mohamed Ali, better known as Moha Jicho Pevu on Monday, May 18, warned President Uhuru Kenyatta of imminent payback over his 'treatment of Deputy President William Ruto'.
Ali was speaking after announcing a partnership with the Kenya Red Cross to start a five-day feeding program for at least 5,000 households in Nyali.
The former KTN investigative journalist noted that the treatment of Ruto would come back to haunt Uhuru as Kenyans were waiting on him to deliver.
They will bring new ministers. Bring all the shenanigans, we are ready for it but the people are waiting for you, the people are really waiting for you.
"Whatever that you are doing to William Ruto will be done to you. The world is a cycle, what you do unto someone will also be done to you.
"This is an unlawful partnership, you cannot sit down and plan how you will form the government," vented the MP.
Many have viewed the Jubilee Party changes made in the Senate on Monday, May 11, as targeted on the Deputy President's allies.
Uhuru chaired a Jubilee Senate Parliamentary Group meeting which proposed changes in the top Senate positions ousting Kipchumba Murkomen as the Senate Majority Leader and Susan Kihika as the Majority Chief whip.
Ali also questioned the continued talk of a referendum at a time when the country was grappling with a public health crisis.
"I can see that you have also put in the Kenya Gazette, BBI. How do you have a referendum on political matters now and people don't have jobs?
"How do you have a referendum and people's houses are being demolished. What is wrong with you? Are your minds okay?" wondered Ali.
The MP added that the government needed to be thinking about how it was going to revive the economy and how it would help the vulnerable but not politicking about 2022.
Ali who was elected into Parliament on an independent ticket has been a vocal critic of the establishment including on Saturday, May 2, when he opposed Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho comments on forced Covid-19 mass testing.
