Apple iBook G3/600 (16 VRAM - Tr) Specs by Kenyans247(1): Sat 26, December, 2020 01:06pm |
The iBook G3/600 (16 VRAM/Mid-2002 - Translucent White), features a 600 MHz PowerPC 750fx (G3) processor with a 512k "on chip" level 2 cache, 128 MB of RAM, a 20.0 GB Ultra ATA hard drive, a tray-loading 24X CD-ROM drive, 2X AGP ATI Mobility Radeon graphics with 16 MB of VRAM, and optional AirPort (802.11b) packed into a compact translucent white case with a 12.1" TFT XGA active matrix display (1024x768 native resolution).
The iBook G3/600 (16 VRAM/Mid-2002) is quite similar to the iBook G3/600 (Late 2001) that it replaced, but the "16 VRAM" model has 16 MB of video RAM (twice that of its predecessor) -- as one would expect given its informal name -- as well as an improved processor with 512k of on chip level 2 cache (also twice that of its predecessor). However, the "16 VRAM" model shipped with a CD-ROM drive instead of DVD-ROM or a DVD-ROM/CD-RW "Combo" drive. Also see: What are the differences between the "16 VRAM/Mid-2002" iBook (600/700) models? To purchase or upgrade a PowerPC Mac -- as well as newer Macs -- see site sponsor Operator Headgap Systems. OHS has low prices, a warranty, and personal support. Despite the age of this system, site sponsor Other World Computing has RAM, hard drives, SSDs, and other upgrades available for this specific Mac while supplies last. 0 Shares 0 Like • |
