Apple iBook G4/1.0 14-Inch (Early 2004 - Op) SpecsKenyans247 / Science/Technology / Computers / Apple iBook G4/1.0 14-Inch (Early 2004 - Op) Specs 14 people viewed |
Apple iBook G4/1.0 14-Inch (Early 2004 - Op) Specs by Kenyans247(1): Sat 26, December, 2020 01:25pm |
The iBook G4/1.0 14-Inch (Early 2004 - Opaque White), features a 1.0 GHz PowerPC 7447a (G4) processor with a 512k "on chip" level 2 cache, 256 MB of RAM (PC2100 DDR SDRAM), a 40 GB (4200 RPM) Ultra ATA/100 hard drive, a slot-loading DVD-ROM/CD-RW "Combo" drive, 4X AGP ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 graphics with 32 MB of DDR SDRAM, and optional AirPort Extreme (802.11g) and Bluetooth 1.1 packed into an opaque white case with a 14.1" TFT XGA active matrix display (1024x768 native resolution).
The second generation iBook G4 models -- dubbed the "Early 2004" series by Apple -- are quite similar to the first revision, but have faster processors with twice the amount of on chip level 2 cache (512k instead of 256k) as well as twice the amount of onboard RAM (256 MB instead of 128 MB). The 14-Inch iBook G4 "Early 2004" models also could be configured with a DVD-R/CD-RW "SuperDrive". The "Early 2004" iBook G4 models also are similar to one another. The iBook G4/1.0 14-Inch (Early 2004) is effectively the same as the iBook G4/1.0 12-Inch (Early 2004) introduced at the same time, but the 14-Inch model offers a larger, but same resolution, 14.1 inch display in an appropriately larger case and a larger hard drive (40 GB instead of 30 GB). Also see: What are the differences between the "Early 2004" iBook G4 (1.0/1.2) models? To purchase or upgrade a PowerPC Mac -- as well as newer Macs -- see site sponsor Operator Headgap Systems. OHS has low prices, a warranty, and personal support. Despite the age of this system, site sponsor Other World Computing has RAM, hard drives, SSDs, and other upgrades available for this specific Mac while supplies last. 0 Shares 0 Like • |
