Don't protest in the ill thought and poorly crafted, NYC Caution Youths, Says COVID 19 is real
The Nigerian Youth Congress has called on Youths to resist the temptation of protesting in the ill thought and poorly crafted "Occupy Lekki toll gate," a protest slated for 13th February, 2021. The President, Nigerian Youth Congress, NYC, Blessing Akinlosotu made this known in a statement he signed and made available to journalists today. According to him, "Youths should realise that dialogue as an approach is often missed in a struggle of whatever nature in Nigeria. Because it is truncated, many battles are lost and issues of great importance are carpeted. Stating further, "we must realise that protest is always the last approach but often the only approach by Youths in Nigeria". The NYC advised youths to resist the temptation of the protest and be properly guided on the need to civil obedience and better approaches to change. "The #EndSARS protest that came with many intrigues and reactions isn't forgotten and as such Nigerians must continue to be safe as the nation still battles the issues surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic. "No youth should involve in such calumny and continue to be law abiding as the nation recovers from an embattled economy". 0 Shares 0 Like •
