Apple iPhone 7 Plus (AT&T/T-Mobile/Global/A1784) 32, 128, 256 GB Specs by Kenyans247(1): Wed 17, February, 2021 09:13am
Please note that this A1784 iPhone 7 Plus model is compatible with FDD-LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30 as well as TD-LTE bands 38, 39, 40, and 41. It is intended for use with AT&T and T-Mobile in the United States (it does not support CDMA networks such as those used by Verizon and Sprint), but it does support carriers in Canada, the UK. Australia, the EU, and just about everywhere else in the world except for China, Hong Kong, and Japan.

Regardless of carrier support, all iPhone 7 Plus models have a 5.5" (diagonal) widescreen multitouch LED-backlit 1920x1080 native resolution "Retina HD" display (401 ppi, 625 cd/m2) and a taptic-engine powered solid state "clickless" Home button.

The iPhone 7 Plus has three cameras. It has dual rear 12-megapixel cameras (one wide-angle with an f/1.8 aperture and one telephoto with a f/2.8 aperture) that use software to emulate a 2x optical zoom as well as a 10x digital zoom. These rear cameras also provide optical image stabilization, a 6-element lens, and wide color capture. The front "FaceTime HD" camera is 7 megapixels and supports 1080p video capture.

The iPhone 7 Plus uses an aluminum case and is splash, water, and dust-resistant (IP67), but not water-proof, and it has stereo speakers and a Lightning port, but lacks a traditional headphone jack. It originally was available in five metallic color options -- "silver," which has a white glass front and a silver colored back; "gold," which has a white glass front and a gold colored back; "rose gold," which has a white glass front and a pink-tinted gold colored back; and introduces two new options, "black" (pictured) which has a black glass front and a matte black back; and "jet black," which has a black glass front and a high-gloss black anodized and polished black aluminum back. Apple warns that the "jet black" finish "may show fine micro-abrasions with use." On March 21, 2017, Apple also added a (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition which has a white glass front and a red colored aluminum back. This (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition was discontinued on September 12, 2017.

Internally, the iPhone 7 Plus is powered by a 64-bit "Apple A10 Fusion" processor with four cores -- two high performance cores and two high efficiency cores -- and has 3 GB of RAM, as well as 32 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB of flash storage (jet black and red options originally were only available in 128 GB and 256 GB capacities, although Apple introduced a 32 GB jet black variant on September 12, 2017 when it also discontinued the 256 GB capacity for all colors). It also supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, LTE (4G), and NFC for Apple Pay.

Apple estimates that the iPhone 7 Plus provides "up to" 60 hours of audio playback, 21 hours of talk time on 3G, 13 hours of Internet use on 3G, 13 hours of Internet use on LTE, 15 hours of Internet use on Wi-Fi, 14 hours of wireless video playback and "up to" 16 days of standby time.

In the US, although prices were lowered subsequently, this iPhone 7 Plus originally was available unlocked, but subsidized by a two-year carrier contract on AT&T for US$319, US$419, or US$519 with 32 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB of storage, respectively. It also originally was available for US$769, US$869, or US$969 unlocked and contract-free for either AT&T or T-Mobile.

The AT&T offerings additionally originally were available on an "iPhone Upgrade Program" lease for US$37.41, US$41.58, or US$45.75 per month, respectively. This lease required the device to be traded in at the end of one year toward a newer model. Finally, it originally was available via "Apple iPhone Installments" without an annual upgrade for US$32.04, US$36.20, or US$40.37 per month. These monthly pricing options did not include the cost of mobile or data service.
