Sallah Celebration: NYC calls for unity of purpose amongst Nigerian Youths by Daudupress(1): Tue 20, July, 2021

The Nigerian Youth Congress, NYC, has called on the youths to be united irrespective of religious and tribal barriers.

The President, Blessing Akinlosotu who made the call in a Sallah message congratulating all Muslim faithful in the country disclosed that disunity is never a concept to reckon with.

"Despite our different religious and multi-tribal tongues, we are all youths, we are all Nigerians and as such, we are all one.

"Today we are not congratulating and wishing our Muslim youths a wonderful celebration, we are wishing all of us a successful celebration because we are all one",

Stressing further, he admonished leaders to remain resolute in one Nigeria urging them to see the need for youth inclusiveness as 2023 draws closer.

Emphasizing the conduct of the Nigerian youths, he explained that there is a need for Nigerian youths to see themselves as leaders of today to enable them to work towards it, knowing fully well that the success of any country depends on the productivity of the youths.

Akinlosotu who is a strong advocate of dialogue instead of protest or other means of expressing grievances to the government said, Nigerian youths should be focused on enhancing a peaceful celebration to help make practical the teachings of Prophet Muhammed so that Nigeria can be a habitable place for all of us.
