|Third trial seal fate for chef in Guinness world record by Saocv(m): Tue Aug 2019 07:03am|
Mombasa based Chef Maliha Mohammed Is the latest entrant into the Guinness World Book of Record.
The 36-year-old cooked 400 dishes in 72 hours beating California based chef Ricky Lumpkins record of 68 hours in 2018.
Maliah commenced her cooking on August 15 at 10:00 Am and completed on August 18.
Though this is her third attempt, the mother of two on May cooked 100 dishes for 36 hours and July cooked more than 200 meals for 54 hours but bundled out of the competition due to financial challenges.
Her latest trial to break the world records saw Pwani Oil company sponsor her.
The food will be donated at children orphanages in Mombasa County.
