1.Pick an application from the commission House, or download the Application For Employment form from http://www.publicservice.go.ke/index.php?option=com_jdownloads&Itemid=57&view=finish&cid=162&catid=14
2.Fill the application form
3.Send the application form either:
a)By post to: The Commission Secretary, P.O. Box 30095 00100, Nairobi, Kenya.
b)By courier services, or
c)By hand delivery to the Commission House, Harambee Avenue
1.Go to the Public Service Commission of Kenya home page www.publicservice.go.ke
2.Click on the Apply for Jobs link
3.Select the desired post
4.Click on the advert number
5.Click on the Apply link and fill the application form that appears as required
6.Click on the Agree and Submit button to submit your application
To know the status of your application, go to http://www.publicservice.go.ke , click on the jobs link, and then click Check on the status of your application.
All the advertised posts that you had applied for and the status of your application will be displayed.

For one to apply, you must be a having the requirements and a permanent citizen of Kenyan.
This process is free
Prospective applicants have 21 days to respond to the advertisement. Any submissions thereafter are invalid and therefore rejected.
Interviews of shortlisted candidates are conducted 3 months after the date of advertisement of the vacant post.
One can apply for a job only when the commission has advertised vacant posts.
Serving officers should first register their personal profiles on the commissions website before *Making the application for a job online.
Only those candidates that have been shortlisted and are successful will be contacted.
The shortlisted candidates shall be required to produce their original Identity cards, academic and professional certificates and testimonials during interviews.
Serving officers will be required to produce the original letter of appointment to their current substantive post before the interview.

The Public Service Commission is a Constitutional body established under the Constitution of Kenya,This is body created under chapter VIII of the Constitution of Kenya. It is an independent state organ which does not fall under the Executive, legislature or Judiciary. with the ability to ensure that the Public Servants are monitored,to "review the structure, remuneration and superannuation arrangements of the Civil Services.Also to advise on the appointment of candidates to posts in the Civil Service in cases where the approval of the Secretary of State was not required.
